Everybody wants to keep up with the times. We like to do it our way. So, introducing our latest four legged …enter Pokemon.

Pokemon was rescued about 10 days ago by Ma on her way to school. Our car coincidentally had a flat tyre in the exact place where she was spotted, dragging herself around on her front legs. She had been hit by a vehicle which has managed to paralyse her hip down and caused internal injury. The exact extent and nature, even we don’t know.  The vet is not very hopeful about her chances.

But we are. She seems to be making steady progress and keeping all fingers and toes crossed, she will defeat the odds and make it. Over the last couple of days, she has been as playful as any normal kitten and is eating well. She is in good spirits, chewing away happily at the cord of my laptop charger and using her front paws to scratch at the mattress with great vigour (a sign of happiness in cats)!
